September 2017 - Kinds of Lines

2 nd -3 rd  Grade Project Title:   Kinds of Lines Description: Students review basic line types.  Lines can be bent or broken into angles.  Lines can create an infinite amount of configurations.  Students developed 2 line designs; one using bent, angular lines, and one using curved lines.  They had a choice of any color combination using markers.  Last, students worked collaboratively to layout 6 or 8 designs in a finished piece.
